BTC Middle School Math Teacher Circle

Designed for 7th-10th grade math teachers, in each session, participants experience a BTC thinking task as a learner, stepping into your students’ shoes. Experienced BTC implementers will then share how they have successfully used the task with middle and high school students. You’ll also have the opportunity to try the task with your own class and share how it went with others, and talk through possible adjustments and next steps.

As a participant, you will:

  • Engage in the lesson as a learner

  • Debrief the pedagogy and strategies used

  • Plan and adapt the lesson for your students

  • Share your classroom experiences at the next meeting

We hope you can join us for this opportunity to collaborate, explore mathematics together, and connect with fellow educators!
